The flag of New Brunswick was adopted in 1965 shortly after the new national flag was inaugurated. It is a banner of arms modeled after the province's coat of arms.
The gold lion in the upper third of the flag alludes to either the Royal Arms of England or the coat of arms of the Duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg. Both states had ties to New Brunswick – the former was its colonial ruler from 1713 until Confederation in 1867, while the latter lends its name to the province. The lymphad occupying the bottom two thirds of the flag may be evoking New Brunswick's historical shipbuilding industry or the ships utilized by numerous Loyalists to land in the province after they fled the United States in the aftermath of the American Revolutionary War.

Deliveries will automatically be left at the specified address by the carrier if there is no response. Delivery times are not guaranteed but are our best approximation and can vary according to unforeseen variables like weather and sabotage of the United States Postal Service.
All apparel items offered by Civil Standard are made-to-order, meaning they’re printed specifically for you and are considered final sale. Made-to-order processes minimize surplus inventory and apparel waste, making them more environmentally friendly.
If you receive a defective product it can be refunded to the original form of payment or exchanged for a product replacement. Notification of defective products must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your order. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a picture of the product defect. In the case of shirts/hoodies, lay it out flat in its natural ‘T’ shape and take a picture from above with the whole item and printed design in the frame.
All unworn headwear not explicitly labeled as "non-returnable" or "final sale" on the product page - at the time of sale - may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase.
