Civil Standard seeks to explore our relationships with civic institutions, civic design, and civic identity, by mining the visual elements, iconography, and graphic design of shared geographic identity systems.

We are constantly searching; for a sense of place, for a sense of purpose...all while paying homage to the beauty and virtue of all places, all people.  

This we do without judgment, but as an examination of self. An examination of us. Ours is a perpetual quest for context. We long for a center of gravity...a grounding as we move forward and march henceforth into uncertainty, reminding us that we are who we are, and there is pride and nobility in the assurance of our composition.
