1917 U.S. Roundel Camp Mug

The original U.S. military roundel - adopted in 1917 - and precursor to the roundel currently in use on American military aircraft, the red circle would eventually be permanently removed from the design during WWII so as not to be mistaken with the markings of a Japanese flag.

Lightweight and durable, the Civil Standard camp mug is a must-have for all armchair vexillologists, American history buffs, and civic identity geeks. Coffee, whiskey, oatmeal...it holds all manner of consumable provisions in the backcountry or the backyard. It doesn't discriminate on product or place. Sure to impress neighbors and thru-hikers alike!
